Michael Mosher is an instructor, coach, and consultant with extensive leadership, business transformation, and process improvement experience. He combines his focus on the customer and passion for process improvement to transform businesses around the world. This requires not only a focus on the customer and process, but also a passion to develop people and build collaborative relationships across the enterprise. Now having successfully delivered over $1B of financial benefits and improved satisfaction for millions of customers, he continues to dedicate his efforts to learning what each customer needs and ensuring results are delivered precisely as the customer desires. During Michael’s 15 years at GE Lighting & GE Capital and 11 years at Bank of America, he led business and cultural transformation using Six Sigma, Lean, Business Process Management, Change Management and technology. In addition, he led the development and deployment of Six Sigma training globally for GE Capital. Michael is a six-time award winner at Bank of America for Innovation, Best of Six Sigma, Customer Loyalty, Customer Retention, and Cultural Change.
Most recently, Michael worked 7 years at Ingersoll Rand as a Global Enterprise Excellence Leader and led the Strategy Deployment process for the enterprise. Michael launched enterprise value stream transformations resulting in 50%-90% reductions in cycle times. He co-developed and facilitated a lean leadership development program, teaching 700+ students across the enterprise and developed lean talent in the finance, HR, IT, supply chain, and legal departments. During his tenure at Ingersoll Rand, Michael received recognition five-times as a recipient of the prestigious President’s Award.
Michael earned an MBA in finance at the University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Michigan Technological University. He is a GE Certified Six Sigma Quality Leader, Master Black Belt, and a Certified Quality Engineer through the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
