His international professional experience, primarily in the oil and gas equipment and services industry, is characterized by progressive operational, technical sales and management roles with various multinational firms and start-ups. Anas has previously provided consulting services for various US, Canadian and UK-based oilfield technology providers, from independent start-ups to Fortune 500 firms, and executed their new-market entry and business development strategies - achieving success through a customized and systematic approach. Prior to that, he served a decade at Weatherford International, leading multidisciplinary regional teams in a management capacity – with full accountability for the safe and efficient delivery of oil and gas well technologies to international energy companies.
Anas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) and a Master of Science in Management from Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada). He has an established track record of successful business expansion into new markets, setting up new subsidiaries/joint ventures, establishing strategic partnerships and translating project awards into profits; and has authored, co-authored and presented several technical papers at worldwide conferences.
